Bows have always been part of Nicki’s Christmas story. Growing up, they decorated the family tree as a playful nod to the Bowes surname, a tradition that later continued with her own family and daughter, Bo. They have always been a signature of her festive styling, reimagined over the years as oversized tree toppers, trailing ribbons, garlands and handmade decorations.

Created with photographer Lol Johnson, Bowes Bows was a festive editorial celebrating that family tradition and Nicki’s enduring love of reinventing bows at Christmas. With her daughter Bo appearing in the shoot, it became a particularly personal piece and a lovely continuation of that family story. It was also a knowing little nod to the fact that, after years of styling with them, everyone else finally seemed to be falling for the joy of bows too!
